No License Yet is a performing arts company based in Mumbai, India, founded in 2002 by writer-director Ms Shivani Tibrewala.  The company believes in socially relevant theatre and performance, and art that also beautifies the world that it seeks to entertain.  Its repertoire is rich and varied in both genre and scope, ranging from medical dramas on bio-ethical issues, to surreal romantic comedies, to dance dramas, to social satire, to murder mysteries for supper theatre, to mythology. All plays produced by No License Yet are written and directed by Ms Tibrewala.

No License Yet's theatrical productions have travelled to 8 cities and over 100 venues including Prithvi Theatre, the National Centre for Performing Arts, The British Council, Alliance Francaise (Mumbai & Bangalore), Mysore Association, National Gallery of Modern Art, Y B Chavan Centre, India International Centre (Delhi), Habitat Centre (Delhi), Rangashankara (Bangalore), Natarani  (Ahmedabad), Wheelhouse Theatre (Canada), Surrey Arts Centre (Canada), IAS Academy (Mussoorie), IIT Powai, IIT Roorkee, FTII (Pune), Xaviers' Institute of Communication, Symbiosis (Pune), PSG Institute of Medical Sciences (Coimbatore), Tata Memorial Hospital, Mayo College (Ajmer), J.W. The Old Man and the Sea : A Sufi fable – premiered at the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival 2012

An Evening with Sita, Surpanakha and Sandra – premiered at the Leela South Asian Women’s Theatre Festival, Mumbai, March 2010.

The Laboratory – Commissioned by The Theatre Royal Plymouth, UK for the Theatrescience Festival.  Premiered Feb 2010 at the Kala Ghoda Festival, Mumbai.

The India Simulator – Commissioned by Flinntheater, Germany.  Premiered in Hamburg in 2009.

The Last Supper – Produced in Canada by the Moving Image Factory, 2006

Staying Alive – Co-produced by No License Yet, Darpana Academy & Radiowani

Studio. Premiered at the Vikram Sarabhai Arts Festival 2004-2005.

Raccontini – Comissioned by the Italian Chamber of Commerce, 2003

Helpdesk – co-produced by Centerstage Entertainment. Premiered at Alliance Francaise, Mumbai 2003.
