Review

The play centres on the family of an old patriarch whose family is being managed by his youthful wife Savitri. She is the bread winner of the family. There are also three other members in the family, namely Binny, who has come back to the house after having waged war on her husband; a jobless son; and an adolescent school going daughter.

Savitri is gravely dissatisfied with her life and upset with her husband who has failed to give her financial and emotional security. She gets into extra marital relationships with the hope of getting fulfillment. But soon she realises that men are the same everywhere. She is caught between her own desires and her destiny.
